May 10, 2023
Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to share with you that we will be holding our BCVTA BGM on May 19th during the lunch break at our Pro D Day at UBC. The two-year term is coming to a close and we will be holding our elections for new executive members during this meeting. We are looking for executive nominees to fill different roles.
The opportunity to serve as an executive member in the BCVTA provides one with a great sense of purpose, growth and contribution as an advocate for our students and collective voice within our profession. It is our hope that nominees both seasoned and new to the field will step forth and share their energy with our wonderful association.
The following positions are still requiring nominees:
President
Vice President
Member at Large for Fraser Valley region
Member at Large for Okanagan region
Member at Large for Vancouver-Sunshine Coast
BCVTA rep on the PRCVI Advisory Committee
We will also be providing a zoom meeting option for those who are unable to attend in person on May 19th at UBC.
Please consider putting forth your name as a nominee or nominating another who may be interested in becoming part of the BCVTA executive. If you have questions or considerations regarding the prospective executive roles, please feel comfortable reaching out.
Respectfully,
Gail and Mary
